Community Involvement at Team Bp
At Best Practice Software, we’re passionate about giving back and supporting healthy, safe and inclusive communities. We show our support in two distinct ways; through our Community Partnership Program, and by participating in charitable events and activities.
Together with our team, partner organisations and customers, we proudly support communities throughout Australia and New Zealand. At Best Practice Software, we challenge one another to be generous, advocates of change through community involvement, and to utilise innovative technology to support the evolution of healthcare.
We do this in two distinct ways; through our Community Partnership Program and by supporting charitable events and activities. Find out how we’re proactively working to improve the lives of Australians and New Zealanders, now and for the next generation through community involvement.
Community Partnership Program
Team Bp actively engages with, and supports, community initiatives through our Community Partnership Program. This program is designed to enable charitable community involvement through our vision of communities connected through medicine and provides qualifying organisations access to our software for a year.
Being a leader in medical software means we are continually striving to provide innovative, industry leading solutions to support practitioners in their everyday operations, as well as the communities in which they operate.
Our Community Partnership Program aims to add value to these communities in the following areas:
Skills, education and training within Australasian medical practice.
Support of safer and healthier communities, including efforts by emergency and disaster relief services and public welfare support.
Activities which encourage community connection, sustainability and social inclusion.
Organisations we’ve supported over the years include Australasian community involvement groups, not for profits and registered charities and will consider supporting:
- Projects that provide benefits to the communities in which we operate
- Projects which contribute to one or more of the community activity areas listed above
- Projects which are consistent with our cornerstone values
- One-off social/community events or fundraisers
Read About Two Clinics We Have Proudly Partnered With
Yotkom Medical Centre
The clinic’s primary goal is to improve access to healthcare for locals and provide excellence in primary healthcare to such a resource-poor setting. The centre also focuses on building relationships and self-reliance within the community.
Matthew Talbot Primary Health Clinic
The Matthew Talbot Primary Health Clinic is a Practice that exists to support homeless men in and around the Woolloomooloo locality. For many years, the area has been a hotspot for homeless activity, with around 100 men living in the available crisis accommodation.
Charitable Support of Organisations & Community Events
In addition to our Community Partnership Program, we proudly support Australasian health related not-for-profits, the local communities in which we live and work, healthcare practitioners providing invaluable services, and our team members involved in the support of these activities. We’ve supported a variety of community groups, not for profits and registered charities over the years who aim to support:
The medical community and accessibility of healthcare
Safer and healthier communities
Local industry and economic growth in smaller, regional areas
Activities which encourage community connection, sustainability and social inclusion
